Nick Taylor — Director of Photography
Nick Taylor, the eye behind Free Lunch Media, is a Los Angeles-based director of photography specializing in cinematic interviews and documentary branded content. His work is built on a simple principle: make every frame look intentional, whether it's a sit-down with a sports icon or a verité moment in someone's living room.
Nick spent nearly a decade as a camera operator on the Emmy-nominated Rich Eisen Show and Dan Patrick Show, working across ESPN, DIRECTV, and Disney+. He stays active as a gimbal operator in live professional sports — work that keeps him sharp, fast, and comfortable in high-pressure environments. That live broadcast foundation gives him something most DPs don't have: the ability to deliver polished, cinematic images without slowing a production down.
His clients include ESPN, Fox Sports, NBC, FOX, TNT, Activision/Blizzard, In-N-Out Burger, Triller, and the World Surf League. He's a Sony FX9/FX3 owner-operator with a full lighting and grip package, equipped to show up as a one-man crew or integrate seamlessly into a larger production.
